Kamut is very filling and nutritious. Local restaurants carry Kamut on the menus making yummy pilafs, salads, etc that serve as a meal or as a side dish to compliment any meal. Good tasting and healthy?! Kamut is winner in my book.
I've been using Kamut white flour for all of my homemade pasta, cookie dough, pizza dough and all other products that I previously used regular white flour for. It's a much better tasting flour and it doesn't weigh so much on you when you eat it. I don't get the bloated feeling normally associated with regular dough or pasta.
I buy it on a regular basis and I am always very satisfied... Plus, it is supporting the right party and healthy too!
When I dive into a whole grain product, I'm looking for a specific experience. I want hearty, robust flavors and a great toothsome mouth-feel. KAMUT consistently delivers!
I've been experimenting with various whole grain flours to make pasta, and Kamut�, with it's beautiful creamy color and unique flavor, makes wonderful homemade pasta. The noodles are sturdy enough to stand up to any rich tomato-y sauce.
I have issues. Issues digesting a good many things, esspecially grain. Kamut bakes into a nice loaf of bread that is tasty and relatively easy for me to digest. Even if you don't have digestive issues Kamut is a great alternative to modern wheat flour.
